Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 4, 2026
This policy explains what information Vigilpost collects, how we use it, and what rights you have. We've written it in plain language — no legal jargon — because we believe you deserve to know exactly what we do with your data.
Who We Are
Vigilpost is operated by Vigilpost Security Inc. We provide a physical security operations platform for security guard companies and in-house security teams. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].
What Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways:
Information you give us directly:
When you submit a demo request through our website, we collect your first name, last name, work email address, company name, and team size. You may also optionally provide a message describing your needs.
Information collected automatically:
When you visit vigilpost.com, we may collect standard web analytics data such as pages visited, time on site, browser type, and general location (country/region). This is collected through Cloudflare, our hosting and CDN provider, and is used in aggregate form only.
Information collected through the platform:
If you become a Vigilpost customer, additional data is collected through the platform itself — including security incident reports, daily activity logs, guard tour records, visitor logs, and other operational security data. This data is governed by your service agreement and our data processing terms, not this website privacy policy.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide through the demo form solely to:
We do not add you to marketing lists without your explicit consent. We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.
Who We Share Your Information With
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate our business. Your information may pass through these services as part of normal operations:
Resend — We use Resend to deliver email notifications when you submit a demo request. Your name, email, and company information are transmitted to Resend for this purpose. Resend's privacy policy is available at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Cloudflare — Our website is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare's network. Cloudflare may process your IP address and request metadata as part of providing CDN and security services. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Railway — Our application infrastructure runs on Railway. Customer platform data (for active Vigilpost subscribers) is stored on Railway-hosted PostgreSQL databases. Railway's privacy policy is available at railway.app/legal/privacy.
We do not share your information with any other third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
Data Storage and Security
Information submitted through the demo form is received via email and stored in our email inbox. We retain this information for as long as necessary to manage our sales and customer relationships.
For Vigilpost platform customers, all data is stored in dedicated, isolated PostgreSQL databases — one per customer organization. Your operational security data is never stored in a shared database with other companies. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and encrypted at rest.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion.
Cookies
Our marketing website (vigilpost.com) does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set functional cookies as part of providing CDN and security services — these are necessary for the website to function correctly and cannot be disabled.
The Vigilpost application (app.vigilpost.com) uses session cookies for authentication purposes. These are strictly necessary cookies that allow you to remain logged in during your session.
Children's Privacy
Vigilpost is a business-to-business service intended for use by adults in a professional capacity. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time as our practices evolve or as required by law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of our website or platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
